A successful entrepreneur, Mark Belinsky brings over four decades of business leadership experience to early stage companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world. He is an active angel investor with Harvard Angels and Band of Angels and serves as strategic business advisor to early stage software and services companies. His work includes providing oversight for business operations and forecasting, and managing contracts with strategic partners. Mark Belinsky also serves as the founding managing director of Venture Management Practice Group, a business and financial consulting firm that assists early stage companies in the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Belinsky previously served as CFO and COO of The Detection Group. He also served as COO of Presto, a restaurant technology company, formerly E la Carte, Inc. Over the course of his career, he has led businesses with products and services in areas ranging from electronic software distribution and digital rights management, to embedded haptics, to supply chain traceability, and 3D printing.

Alongside his day-to-day professional pursuits, Mark Belinsky is a member of the Board of Directors of Harvard Business School Angels Global, and is a member of the membership committee at Band of Angels. He spends his free time sailing, playing tennis and participating in ice hockey as a player and referee. He holds a BA degree in Accounting from Wayne State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mark Belinsky
